We Believe That Each Child

  1. is special: he/she must learn to interact with others who are equally special.

  2. needs exclusive attention which must diminish as he/she grows, but diminish gradually.

  3. is innately a discoverer; his/her learning process must enhance this characteristic.

  4. must develop a scientific outlook to feel at home in the world of tomorrow.

The School Realizes These Beliefs By

  1. providing a pleasant transition from the protected home environment to the exposed one of today's schools.

  2. limiting the number of children to each teacher and engaging teachers who enjoy children.

  3. identifying the pace at which each child is comfortable and then enabling him/her to progress at his/her own pace.

  4. identifying the strengths of each child and reinforcing them.

  5. not dogmatically adhering to any one system of education but by pursuing a pragmatic approach evolved through careful study and experience.

  6. encouraging the child to experiment and be independent.

His Name is Today

We are guilty of many errors and many faults,

But our worst crime is abandoning the children,

Neglecting the fountain of life.

Many of the things we need can wait.

The child cannot.

Right now is the time his bones are being formed,

His blood is being made,

And his senses are being developed.

To him we cannot answer “Tomorrow”.

His name is Today.
